Stonefront
Restaurant
With its casual, cozy atmosphere, the Stonefront Restaurant serves
breakfast and dinner every day. Harbin's creative chefs are committed
to providing you healthy, balanced meals prepared with love and
care. The eclectic cuisine often features organic produce
from
local farms. The dinner menu features a different vegetarian entree
daily, with chicken and fish specials available. (Entrées range from $10-$23.) Savory soups, fresh
garden salads and delicious desserts are always available. Mornings
we serve traditional American breakfast favorites, including omelets,
eggs a variety of ways, home fries, pancakes, French toast, fresh
fruit and, of course, oatmeal. (Dishes range from $4-$10.) We also
have fresh organic juices, coffee and tea. The Stonefront Restaurant
offers a wonderful place to gather and enjoy the more social aspect
of Harbin. Hours
Our Famous "Chinese Breakfast"
1 T olive oil
1 T minced ginger root
1/4 C chopped onion
1/4 C chopped zucchini
1/4 C sliced mushrooms
1/4 C chopped red peppers
1/4 C frozen green peas OR fresh snow pea pods cut in half
1 C loosely packed greens (spinach, chard, kale, etc.)
1/2 C extra firm tofu, 1/2" cubed (optional)
2 eggs any style cooked in a separate pan (Scrambled is easiest, poached is yummiest)(optional)
1 T toasted sesame seed oil OR 1T hot chili sesame oil
1 T sweet mirin or more to taste (Do not substitute for this ingredient)
2 T wheat free tamari or more to taste (Soy is okay, too.)
1-2 C cooked rice (Short grain brown rice is best.)
In a non-stick skillet or cast iron pan, heat oil to medium/low and add ginger. Sauté for 1 minute.
Add vegetables and tofu (optional). Sauté for 3-5 minute or until vegetables begin to soften.
Add the mirin and the tamari and let simmer about 1 more minute. (The amounts for the tamari and mirin vary according to your liking of juiciness.)
Add sesame oil (either variety) just before removing from heat. (Sesame oil has a low singe temp.)
Layer ingredients with rice on the bottom, veggies next and cooked eggs on the top.

Located above the restaurant, this cozy little nook -- presided over by Don Cornelio Murphy and his merry band of baristas -- offers delicious organic and free trade espresso from Taylor Maid Farms, several varieties of Chai Baba chai, Numi teas, and a tasty assortment of baked goods from local bakeries: breakfast burritos, bagels, croissants, quiche and more. Café tables are provided both inside and outside. Internet access is available from the nearby Cyberstation 24 hours a day. Hours

Sirena Poolside Café
This open air seasonal cafe serves gourmet sandwiches, organic
salads, smoothies, and exotic iced tea drinks. Try the latest
slurp-craze from Thailand: bubble tea! La Sirena Café is
located conveniently at the large swimming pool. Hours
Fern
Guest Kitchen
Refrigerator space and cooking facilities are available for guests
in this large kitchen conveniently located above the dressing
rooms. Meat, fish and poultry are not allowed in the guest kitchen

Due to
fire risk, cooking with outdoor camp stoves is prohibited.
