The space
in which live words are spoken is called Satsang
a Sanskrit word which translates: being together
in Truth," or in the Presence of Truth." Harbins
on-going Satsang Program invites luminous spiritual teachers from
around the world to share their awakening and their living Presence
with us.
Our program
is evolving organically, usually on Friday evenings (sometimes
mid-week and Saturday, too); and has included visits from Eli
Jaxon-Bear, Neelam, Adyashanti, Pamela Wilson, Steven Harrison,
John Tarrant, Paul Lowe, John Sherman, and Isaac Shapiro. There is ample opportunity
to engage in dialogue, ask questions, or simply bask in the silence
and spaciousness of a Gathering dedicated to and illuminated by
Truth.
Satsang events
are offered by donation plus Harbin entry fee, and do not require
pre-registration. Intensives require pre-registration; for cost
and details contact Linda Miller, at 707-987-0639, or email linda@harbin.org.
See the events
calendar
for upcoming events. Check frequently for updates. If youd
like to receive periodic e-mailings of upcoming events, again,

Morning Sitting Meditation
Monday thru Friday between 8:00 and 8:30 am, the Harbin Theater transforms into a cozy, candlelit meditation “cave”. There is an altar set up with evocative statuary, backjacks for support, and tiers of pillows to create your own sitting space. The Meditation period begins and closes with a sonorous bell – the invitation is to relax into your own way of silent reflection, meditation, or prayer. It's a great way to start the day! The space is “held” by Linda Miller and/or Russel Gonzaga. Please arrive a few minutes early to get settled before the bell.
Satsang at the Movies
Friday and Saturday at 5pm in the Harbin Theater youll find
engaging and inspirational videos drawing from a wide variety
of spiritual traditions. Eckhart Tolle, Gangaji, Rumi, Pema Chodron,
Byron Katie, Ram Das, Poonjaji, A.H. Almaas, Catherine Ingram,
the Dalai Lama, Stanislav Grof, Andrew Cohen, Steven Harrison,
Krishnamurti, and, many, many more! The collection is ever-expanding,
so check the Events Calendar listings or the bulletin boards for specific programming. Stop in
and be inspired!
